About Pippa
A bit about me: Pippa was found wandering, heavily pregnant. A month later her wonderful carers at the RSPCA welcomed 11 lovely puppies. Pippa was a dedicated and attentive mum and has since raised her adorable, good natured puppies. As you could imagine feeding and caring for 11 pups was exhausting and now Pippa is looking forward to finding her very own forever family and a long, happy, puppy free future.
Pippa is about knee high and has slim build. She has gained weight now she is no longer feeding her puppies. She is chipped as a Kelpie x German Shepard and estimated to be approx. 1yr old.
There are not the words to adequately describe this lovely girl. She has a fantastic temperament, she is quiet, house trained and intelligent. She loves people (especially men), attention, belly rubs and will happily climb up onto your lap if allowed. Pippa loves walks and behaves well on a lead. During her time in care she has shown herself to be great with kids, fine with other dogs both her own size and smaller and disinterested in cats. Nothing seems to phase Pippa except storms! Pippa is very scared of storms and will require good high fencing for this reason.
Although it seems Pippa has had little training, she will sit for treats and comes when called, she is a smart girl and I am sure would learn quickly.
In short she is a wonderful girl who will make a great family member. She has been a pleasure to have in care and will be missed by her foster family.
My ideal home: Pippa would prefer to be an indoor dog, simply so she can be close to her humans. She is comfortable in doors and house trained so I assume she is used to it. She will require good, high fencing and regular exercise. It has been impossible to work on training due to having 11 puppies with her but I think she would enjoy the stimulation.
Suitability for children: Pippa loves everyone and is very tolerant of children, providing children are “dog trained” they will have a devoted companion. An all round great family dog.
