Humphrey B Beardog (On Trial 29/9/13)

Humphrey B Bear Dog is approximately 8+ years old and a stunning gentlemen that is the closest to a bear that you could get! His breed is a mystery (Newfoundland? Chow Chow?) but he reminds me of a chocolate brown golden retriever. His body has been clipped as it was severely matted but he still has his feathered tail, fluffy ears and gorgeous mane.

Bear Dog would suit an older couple or single or someone that just wants a loving lounge lizard. He does have osteo arthritis in his hind legs and elbows however would still enjoy a slow walk around the block to see the sights! He is a perfect gentlemen and very well mannered. He is perfectly housetrained and loves just lying by your feet after a nice pat. He is no trouble and it's easy to forget he is around! He is quite content to curl up and snooze away.

Humphrey doesn't escape or dig or chew. He is wonderful and calm with other dogs, even my super dominant female doesn't faze him! He just wanders on past in his own little world. He has a magnificent coat that will need regular brushing so he doesn't get matted again.

If you have a place in your heart and home for a gentle old soul and some time to scratch his ears and give a few special treats then Humphrey is the man for you. He will give you undying love and loyalty and the best cuddles in the world!
