About Ruby - On Trial 15/10/13
Meet Ruby aka Miss Perfect - a beautiful 18 month old staffy cross kelpie who loves everyone and everything.
Ruby really is a perfect pooch whom everyone loves - she is always happy and always has a wagging tail and lots of kisses to greet you with. She is super friendly with all dogs she meets both big and small and just wants to kiss and play games with them all.
Ruby loves children of all ages, and understands to be gentle around them. She will sniff new people gently and then turn into an absolute wiggle butt in friendliness but understands not to jump and knock people over in her joy to befriend them. She loves to play catch and absolutely loves water and can often be found playing in her water bowl just for fun. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, however based on her super friendly temperament, a supervised and controlled introduction would most likely be successful.
Ruby is very quiet when at home or out on walks and does not bark when you leave - she is content to play with her doggy siblings or keep herself entertained whilst you are gone. She is an inside/outside dog and is most happiest when she is with her family so she is best suited to a home where she will be allowed inside for companionship and creature comforts - she is toilet trained and knows how to use a doggy door too.
Miss Perfect Ruby has basic obedience training – she sits, stays and comes when called, and is very treat focused for further training. She has excellent manners with food, she knows how to share and has zero food aggression at all.. she really is a very gentle and well behaved lady.
Ruby really is an all rounder perfect pooch so she would be suited to many household situations - an active single, or couple, or a family with children of any ages. As she loves other dogs she would also be suited to a family who already has another friendly pooch.
To meet Ruby please contact her foster carer Karen on 0415 802 276 or email fireflyanimalrescue@gmail.com. Ruby is in foster care in Macquarie Fields, Sydney and her adoption fee includes vaccination, microchipping, desexing, flea and worm treatments.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. Foster carers know dogs in their care very well and can tell you further information about the pet. The carer will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet (usually at a park near to the foster carers home)
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member, and a two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
