Looking for a magnificent looking male German Shepherd who has come from one of the best breeders in NSW then take a look at Gus (Augustus).

Gus is a beautifully structured male stock coated German Shepherd who is currently in care with a foster home at Kurri Kurri.

Gus is a gentle loving and very much people focused dog who is housetrained and obedient. He is a dog who needs to be with his human pack so if you are a home body and enjoy the company of your dog then consider Gus who will happily sit at your feet all day and watch tv with you but also enjoys a gentle walk.

Through no fault of his own Gus has developed a need to be around his human pack probably having been a rescue dog and discarded by his previous owners. In fact Gus has had two homes only because his previous owners became too unwell to manage him and so he has come into our care.

Currently living in a home with a number of other rescue dogs - Gus is social and friendly with all of them males included. He is very obedient, and knows all his commands. \ So if you have a home where he can be an integral member of the household and are able to be with him then he will be your most loyal friend and companion.

We are prefering a retired couple or a family where there is someone home with Gus to keep him happy. Gus is not destructive nor is he a barker we really cannot fault him except for his need to be with his family.

If he is left alone he will become anxious and look for ways to follow you and he has taught himself to jump a fence but if you are around he will not venture away from your side.

Gus is in excellent health and would need exercise daily so a home where he is not a yard dog but walked daily and given jobs to do to keep him stimulated.
