About Beau
We are fairly certain Beau has possibly had a rough first year of her life. \ The vet is sure she is a young cat herself, her first and last litter (she is now desexed) all within her first 18 months of life.
Beau is a beautifully natured cat. Not once has she ever growled, bitten or scratched us, even after surgery!! She is a doting mother, dedicated to her kittens, so much so, she is still feeding them (yes this is possible even though she has just recently been desexed).
Beau is very much an indoor cat. She is not interested in going outside, unless it is to do her ‘toileting’ or to watch over her kittens in the enclosure. We think that this behaviour of not wanting to be far from our company, is potentially to do with a rough start at life.
Beau adores her babies, and the best outcome for Beau would be to find a furr-ever home as a dual adoption with one of her kittens. She trills for her babies regularly, rounding them up for a feed, a clean or just a cuddle.
Beau is best suited to someone who wants a quiet, loving cat who won’t stray far, always favouring your companionship. Beau is low maintenance in terms of care, she just needs to know that you are there to cuddle her, acknowledge her and dine with her. \ In return you will get the utmost loyalty of a quiet natured, calming friend for life. Beau is the perfect ‘therapy’ cat when settled.
Beau is an indoor cat. She has access to a cat enclosure, but she isn’t interested in heading outside much. She is desexed, micro-chipped, fully kitty litter trained, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. The adoption fee is $175. As Little Paws is a not-for-profit organisation, the adoption fee covers veterinarian treatment costs only.
Dual adoptions are discounted to $325. Beau obviously has a close bond with all of her babies, but we think Zac (being the sook he is) – craves her attention the most. Like any animal, a lifelong friend and partner to hang out with 24/7 is priceless, so any combination of a dual adoption would be a true blessing.
If you would like to hear more about Beau, please call Beau’s foster carer, Robyn on 0437 290 071 whom is located at Wakerley, Brisbane Bayside.
All Little Paws kitties come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws kitties are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, for their safety and health and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a kitty goes to. We match kitties to their new family; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising kitties in their own home, we would appreciate a call if you cannot make an appointment.
