Oscar "Wookie" (On Trial 30/9/13)

Oscar is a 2 year old Shih Tzu x Maltese. He is a gentle little soul who loves nothing better than a scratch. You can't help but fall in love with his little face when he peers up at you longing for affection. We've nicknamed him "Wookie" for obvious reasons and he responds to it as well.

He gets along well with other small dogs and is great with children. He fits in well in our family with our little dog and young kids.

Oscar has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful. He has the classic Shih Tzu face including the under bite. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.

Oscar would suit any loving family, with or without children. He is a very affectionate, happy-go-lucky dog who is very easy to please and to love.
