About Flick (On Trial 13/10/13)
Flick is a stunning 12 month old female, Australian Cattle Dog x Kelpie. She is an absolute charmer and you just can’t help falling in love with her cheeky smile! Flick is a very gentle and affectionate girl and loves getting cuddles and giving kisses. She is very much a lady, and prances around on her adorable lanky legs.
Flick is great with other dogs and children over the age of 3. She loves going for walks and running around the backyard with the other dogs. But she is also content to laze around the house or yard and will keep herself occupied with her toys. She especially loves Kongs and any other toys that hold food! She also loves playing tug-of-war.
Flick is such a well behaved girl, whether it be at home, in the car or out in public. As she is still young, she does get a little excited and does jump up a little, but she is learning not to do this. Flick is a very smart girl and a very quick learner! She currently knows how to sit and drop and is currently learning how to shake, come when called and stay. She is also fully housetrained and behaves herself extremely well inside.
Flick’s ideal home would be one with another doggy friend or someone who is home a lot. She would love to be an indoor/outdoor dog and to sleep inside of a night as she loves being close to her humans. She is happy to entertain herself outside when no one is home. Flick needs an active family that will continue with her training and give her the time and attention that this gorgeous girl deserves. She would make a great family pet and would reward you with her loyalty and love!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
