Charlie

Charlie is a very affectionate and playful working dog. She is 7 months old and needs to find a new home due to owners health.

MY IDEAL HOME: I would make a great companion for an active family who will love getting involved in doggy training or exercise. I love being around people or a loving person.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am one energetic girl who needs plenty of stimulation and enrichment. I want to play with you all the time.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love children but because of my excitable personality they would need to be over 10 years old and who will be involved in my training.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS: I love other dogs! When I meet other dogs I can be shy and will stay still whilst you give me a sniff. Once I get to know you, we will have a great time playing.

WHAT I CAN DO: I can sit, lie down, walk backwards (more like hop but I'm picking it up very fast), stay, come (when I'm on the lead, I'm still a bit distracted off the lead when you ask me to come). I pick up words VERY quickly. I know monkey (my soft toy monkey), ball, walk, collar, no biting, stay, come, duck (my toy duck), actually pretty much any word you say to me enough I can learn.

BITE HISTORY: When I was a younger puppy I was scared of my lead and would bite if you put it on me or tried to take something from me on my lead. I don't do this any more and am happy to be on my lead. I am also scared of the vet (I've never bitten the vet but I become very anxious and growl) and will need to be trained to be okay with this.

If you choose to adopt Charlie she will come with 2 doggie beds, 5 months of flee and worm tablets, free passes to the vet for a groom and wash, a harness and her toys. She has completed (and passed) the beginners dog training class, puppy pre school, has been checked physically by the vet and de-sexed (sterilised) and mircrochipped.
