About Rosie (On Trial 19/12/13)
Rosie is an 11 yo purebred Maltese with a very gentle nature. She's such a darling you can't help but love her. She enjoys going in the car and going for walks, and is good on and off lead. She is very quiet, calm and affectionate. She is gentle and patient with children. She would be a perfect companion for a lonely senior person. She must be an indoor dog.
Rosie has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.
Rosie has always lived with other small dogs and would be happy to have a small friendly canine companion in her forever home. Rosie will bring endless smiles and love to her new home.

Rosie's adoption fee is only $100 because of her senior status and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Medical notes
Rosie has just recently been diagnosed with a heart murmur. This is fairly common in dogs her age and is not affecting her at the moment and she is fit and healthy. She may need to start medication some time in the future.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
