About Jasmine (On Trial 17/10/13)
Jasmine (Jazzy) is a beautiful, female, 7 year old Flat Coated Retriever. She was a little sad when she first came into foster care because her owner could no longer keep her, but that was 2 weeks ago and now she has blossomed into an affectionate and loving companion!
Jazzy loves following my husband around and watching everything he's doing out in the yard or she is happy to just sit at his feet while he reads the paper. (I think her previous owner must have been a male)!
Jasmine is such a placid girl and loves it when the grandkids are around to play with her. She has a favourite squeaky toy which she brought with her and if it isn't in her mouth it is close by. Any person \ can take this toy from her mouth including my youngest grandbaby, so long as we make sure she can find it. Jasmine has started playing with other squeaky things like balls and is slowly becoming more relaxed about her "precious".
Jasmine is lovely to take for a walk and her pace is fairly relaxed which suits me fine. She would be equally suited to a family with young children who are happy to walk the dog (not run) or an older couple who enjoy a leisurely walk around the neighbourhood.
Jazzy would be ideal as an only dog as she loves her humans like they were her own family which of course is exactly how it should be. She does not get along with all dogs however so I would recommend she be an only dog.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
