About Lulu
"Lu Lu is currently on a two week trial**
Lulu, a blue point ragdoll, was so badly matted (as shown in her pound mug shot) when she arrived into our care that she had to have her matted mess of a coat shaved off under sedation. \ She also had quite a bad infection between several of her toes as a result of all of the gunk and grime that had accumulated due her maintenance requirements being totally neglected. As a result her carer says that she looks like a lollipop...hence her new name.
Of course her beautiful coat will grow back with time and we have treated the infection between her toes which has healed nicely. As you can imagine Lulu is now much more comfortable after the removal of all of her matted coat and can now rest her head on the floor as there is no longer a huge mound of hair under her chin.
We are hoping to have some new pictures of Lulu shortly.
Her carer says she is very sweet and is slowly starting to come out of her shell each and every day and now is happy to be patted and held. Lulu is living with 2 other cats however her carer thinks she would be best suited to a quiet home as a companion for someone who can give her the love and grooming care that she deserves. As a result Lulu is not suitable for a home with young children as they would be too overwhelming for her. Grandchildren that visit from time to time would be ok .
Lulu is litter trained and must have a home where she is able to reside inside for the majority of the time as this is the environment that Ragdoll breed are best suited.
Lulu will only be rehomed to a home that is able to maintain her lovely coat so that she does not end up a matted mess again.
Lulu is currently in foster care at Kirrawee in southern Sydney.
Lulu's adoption fee includes desexing, vax, worming, microchipping and a vet check
