About Sam (On Trial 5/10/13)
Sam is a 9 year old Shih Tzu x, large for his breed. He is playful for his age and loves plush toys and gets excited. He also enjoys playing tug o war but he is strong and sometimes gets boisterous!
Sam loves going for walks and gets on with dogs his own size but would not be suited to a home that has larger dominant dogs.
Sam is not an aggressive dog and would suit a home with older children. He could get nippy with small children if prodded and poked.
Sam is a clever boy and can sit up and beg on command. He is an inside dog and is house trained. He can be a cheeky boy and jump up on the bed to sleep at night.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
