About Boris
Boris is a beautiful golden German Shepherd cross Rottie, though definitely more Shepherd in his ways and looks. He loves everything and everyone, and is a very curious young dog.
This lovely boy loves other dogs and does not have a mean bone in his body. He really enjoys being with people and will need to be an inside dog. He sleeps in his leopard skin rug and stays there all night. But he is up as soon as someone's feet touch the floor because he's ready for a hug and breakfast!
Boris can be goofy and funny at times, but isn't naughty. He really is a well mannered boy and a joy to have around you. He is also really good in the car.
Being a young dog, he has plenty of energy and would love to find an active furever home. He enjoys going on daily walks and a run in the dog park.
P.S. Want a laugh? Put Boris in front of a mirror or a TV... and watch his head go from side to side, trying to figure out what's going. Such a cutie!
MY IDEAL HOME: I would love a home with a big yard. My ideal home will take me for a daily walk and plenty of exercise. I would be great for a family who take me on outings, running, riding or swimming. I am pretty good on the lead and happy when out walking . I love the heater and TV at night.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am an active chap and love activity however I also love laying on the mat in front of the TV at night for a snooze...
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I love anyone who loves me... children or adults! But I can be goofy and look big so it's probably best if I go to a home with kids over the age of 6.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS: I do not know about cats but I love the two dogs I live with now!
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
