About Mali
Meet the beautiful and lovable Boxer girl Mali! This amazing girl has had a terrible start to life however she is now ready to start a new chapter and find her forever home.
Mali was surrendered to Second Chance Animal Rescue 3 months ago after she was involved in a terrible accident in her previous home. Mali had jumped a meter high fence (with sharp spear like ornaments on the top of the fence) in a friend's back yard to get to another friendly dog to play, unfortunately as she tried to clear the fence her hind leg became impaled on one of the spears and was left dangling for 45 minutes before someone found her! Her young owners were not equip financially to care for her medical needs to try and save the leg as the damage was extensive so that is where we stepped in.
Mali has had a range of surgeries on her leg which included a metal plate being inserted to allow the bones and ligaments to heal and after 12 weeks of cage rest she is FINALLY ready to go to her new home!!!
Mali is a beautiful girl with a very sweet nature. For those of you that have ever owned or met a boxer you will know how high energy they are, so Mali is looking for an active family to adopt her that can commit to daily walks and obedience training is must. She learns very quickly so with a patient and loving owner this sweetheart will be a very well mannered adult pooch.
Mali is great with other dogs and loves children- she is also good with cats but tends to chase them and play with them (even if they don't want to play lol.. she thinks everyone is her friend!)
We want Mali to be a part of a family so please only apply for her if you can be sure that Mali will be allowed inside the home (and hopefully also sleep indoors) and you have the patience to deal with an energetic and lovable large breed dog.
To the right family this beautiful girl will be the most loyal companion you have ever had.
Mali comes desexed, micorchiped and vaccinated.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
