About Timmy
Hello Everyone, my name is Timmy and i am very shy. So my beautiful caring foster mum Lisa will tell you a little bit about me. Timmy was rescued from an animal hoarder who had 32 other small dogs living in a room. Timmy had never ever been outside or experienced the outside world. He was not used to strange people or other animals when we rescued him. Timmy is currently 16 months old (approx), He is now great with cats and other dogs but he is extremely nervous around people. He will warm up to one person and be the perfect companion for someone on their own with other cats and/or dogs. He has such a sweet nature and a beautiful personality, he would never even harm a fly, he is completely trustworthy and loyal. He doesn't need to be walked, up until now and currently, he hasn't been ready to adapt to a leash or a harness but he gets plenty of exercise by running around the backyard with my other dogs. Timmy is a wire Jack Russel. Timmy will need a very special family who are willing to put the time into helping him along to lead a normal doggie life. He has not been around children so are unsure as to how he would go with them but we would hope that once he was used to them he would be ok.
Timmy is currently located in Whittlesea but will be moving to Melb suburbs very soon
Medical notes
Has been prescribed doggie calmative tablets to help him with his fears.
Adoption details
After seeing an animal you are interested in we ask you to fill out an adoption expression of interest form which tells us a bit about you, your lifestyle and any previous pets. A meet and greet is then organised for you to meet your prospective new furry friend and if all goes ok, you are then able to adopt your new furry housemate.
