About Puppy Emerson (On Trial 13/9/13)
Emerson is a 8 week old, female, Mastiff x Staffy. She is a very friendly and social girl who loves all people including children. She's wonderful with other dogs, large and tiny, and is young enough to have no problems with cats. She is a very snuggly puppy who loves to loves nothing more than to sit on your lap and soak up the love.
Emerson will need to be an inside/outside dog during the day and to sleep inside at night in a comfy dog bed. She would love a home where someone is home alot as she is still a baby and needs company of a person or another dog. A home with another dog who could show her the ropes and be her friend would be great. She will grow up to be a medium to large sized dog so she'll need 6 foot colourbond fencing to keep her safe.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. They're a big commitment.
Emerson will be ready to go to her forever home after the 10th of September, but you can meet her now and make a deposit if you would like to adopt her.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
