Polly (On Trial 27/9/13)

Polly is a 4 yo purebred Shih Tzu. She is a very happy, friendly and affectionate girl who loves cuddles. She loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters including very large and very small ones. Her best friend is a large terrier x who is very gentle with her - they snooze in the sun together. When she wants to run and play she chooses the 7 month old border collie to play with.

Polly is not a barker. She must sleep inside at her forever home in a nice cozy bed with one of her favourite teddies. She also needs access to the inside/outside throughout the day. When left home alone she should be locked inside the house to be safe and comfortable.

Polly has a non-shedding coat so she will require professional grooming every 4 to 6 weeks, bathing every few weeks, and to be brushed or combed daily to prevent tangles and keep her beautiful.

Polly would love a home with another dog similar in size. Her ideal home would have someone retired, or who works from home, or a stay at home parent, because she loves company. Polly hasn't been around children or cats since coming into foster care but she is a very sweet and calm dog so I think she would be good with them.
