About Xena
Xena is a friendly, sweet and fun-loving Staffy X girl who would love to be part of a furever family. She thrives on cuddles and walks, and loves to please her humans. She is house-trained and will sit, lie down and fetch. She has a great temperament.
As you can tell from her photos, Xena gets along well with other dogs and enjoys meeting new furry friends.
Like most young dogs, Xena has lots of energy and would best fit with someone who enjoys regular walks with a furry companion. She loves being around people and would not do well left alone in a house all day: companionship is vital.
She is a sweet-natured girl who wins over everyone she meets.
MY IDEAL HOME: I would like a calm and assertive owner who works from home, or can take me to work with them (outside or inside) and who is dedicated to giving me love because I have so much to give in return.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have moderate energy levels: I am curious and engaged but have little legs, so a few medium walks and some tennis ball throwing suits me fine.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I would fit well with children over 5 as I am a little stocky rocket.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS: I like other dogs! I am not used to living with cats but my foster mum thinks I will be able to adjust quite well, because I'm so gentle and not aggressive at all.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
