About Red - Good with cats
Red is a 7 year old red cloud kelpie who is looking for a forever home.
Red is a friendly and loving boy who would love to be a part of your family. He has been a working dog in the past, so will need a home where he will receive plenty of exercise. He would be a show stopper at agility or obedience as he is so quick to learn and eager to please. Red also likes hanging around in the garden. He loves to lay in the sun and just watch the world go by.
Red is very dog social, is good with cats ( as long as they don't run around to much or he would then want to round them up ) and is excellent around children. Whilst Red is house trained and loves to snuggle up in front of the fire on a cold wet evening he does prefer to sit outside in the sunlight when ever possible.
Red is a very intelligent boy and would make a great addition to any active family.

Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely dogs. All of our dogs have been thoroughly assessed and most have been through our Acacia Prison Animal Training Programme.
We at SAFE Avon Valley guarantee that every one of our dogs is suitable to be re-homed. It is our job to ensure that we match our dog with it's perfect family (a bit like a dating agency).
If you would like to know more about this dog please call Gloria on 0409 000 259. If the dog sounds suitable then we pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to view the dog.
Some of our dogs are located in our shelter in Northam so you will need to meet it there. Once you have meet the dog and are happy to go further then we organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure for the dog.
Once that is completed you can then take the dog home on a 2 week trial, if the dog is not suitable then you simply return it.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
