About Pepe (OnTrial 12/9/13)
Pepe is a young 5 year old terrier mix. He is a lively playful happy boy who certainly does not behave like he's five. Pepe enjoys running around the backyard and is in his element when the other dogs chase him. He is full of life and it would be great for him to have a family to play and interact with.
Pepe loves playing with the water spouting out of the hose when you are trying to water the garden lol.
*** See Pepe's video at http://youtu.be/CdNNXX5brQk
As much as he loves being outdoors playing and running, Pepe is an indoor dog. He enjoys being part of the family and would not be suited to being left outdoors whilst the family were indoors.
Pepe is pretty much house trained. He still may have the odd accident but with further training should be fine. He also requires some obedience training. He isn't too bad but tends to obey when it suits him:)
Pepe's coat is short at the moment but will regrow. He will require regular brushing to ensure his coat doesn't get knots.
If you think Pepe would be a ideal addition to your family and you can provide him with a secure and loving home for the rest of his life, please contact Lucyann on 0249735796.
Pepe's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
