About Elvis
Elvis is an amazing boy who finds himself in the position of needing another home. His current owners are off to do some humanitarian aid work and cannot take Elvis with them unfortunately.
He’s great with other dogs and loves to run around at the dog park. A low to medium energy level dog, Elvis is happy with a daily walk and some play time and can easily go jogging with you if so inclined. He’s good around children and babies and is very gentle and doesn’t jump up or lick them. He does like his own space, so if he’s had enough, he simply gets up and walks away. He bonds well with his family and can be wary of strangers, especially men, so any family will need to introduce him slowly to other males.
Elvis is house trained, crate trained and he knows how to sit, stay and lay down and mostly comes back to you at the dog park!...he loves his humans so much that if you start to leave towards the gate, he’ll follow and he never strays too far anyway. He’s a sensitive creature though, so discipline will need to be gentle and measured.
A real smoocher, Elvis loves his cuddles and lots of human attention. He needs a home where someone is home more often than not and would be perfect as a close companion / best mate for someone or a couple that want a big, lazy cuddle bunny. He will not do well with any harsh, strict owners that raise their voice or yell at him...he’s too sensitive for that.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
