About Prince (On Trial 1/9/13)
Hello! My name is Prince. I am a 14 week old, male, old Dachshund x Maltese x Jack Russell and I just love EVERYTHING. I love kids, I love cats, I love other dogs, I am a happy, playful and adorable young man who has melted my foster mummy's heart.
I love running around the park and respond well when my name is called. I walk well on the lead and love being out in the sun. I am only little so I need to be a inside dog with my new family but would be content outside during the day provided I have shelter from the heat or cold. I love laying in the sun and I often curl up near the window in the sun. I sleep in my crate of a night as I'm really curious and I get into everything while everyone is asleep. I will stop this as I get older and I am happy to be tucked in and sleep the night peacefully. I am toilet trained and I can use the doggy door.
I sit when I am asked but would benefit from puppy school to learn a few more things. Overall I am a pleasure to have in the family and love following my family around for a cuddle or pat whenever I can. I do jump up but am leaning not to. I am very delicate and gentle and I don't knock the kids over when I jump up. I would love a forever home with kids or another puppy to play with. I do have sharp puppy teeth but I haven't yet nipped anyone. I'm more of a licker :)

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
