About Puppy Nukka (On Trial 30/8/13)
Nukka is a kind natured 11 week old Border Collie x Husky puppy. She loves to be with people and is often the first of my foster puppies to come over for a pat and a cuddle. She is excellent with other dogs and plays well with the other puppies as well as my two older dogs. It would be ideal for Nukka to go to a home where she will have another dog as a companion or where there will be someone home much of the time.
Nukka is very playful. She loves stuffed toys, balls and almost anything she can have a chew on. Patience will be essential with Nukka, as with any puppy, while she is learning the house rules and toilet training. Attending a good puppy school will assist with training Nukka. She has a glossy black coat which will require regular brushing and bathing to keep her beautiful.
Nukka has 2 brothers Bristol and Gizmo who are also available for adoption.
For more information or to meet Nukka please phone foster carer Anita on 0438 404 686 or email noitamc@hotmail.com. Nukka is in foster care in Medowie, NSW (15 minutes north of Newcastle).
Nukka's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
