About Puppy Maddie (On Trial 5/9/13)
Maddie is a 9 week old, female, cattle x puppy. She will win you over when she sits in front of you and tilts her head to one side and gives you the "aren't I just a good girl look". In the time I have had her she has managed to worm her way into my heart and onto my lap at any chance she gets. She loves to play with the other puppies and with my big Bull Arab foster dog. The big dog is teaching all the puppies how to be good dogs.
Maddie loves her bath and will even go outside and roll in the dirt so she can do it all over again! She will generally come when called, that is if she is not too busy playing. She is doing well with house training and is well and truly ready to run out to the grass first thing of a morning when she is let out of her kennel.
Maddie is one of a litter of four puppies whom I've been fostering since they were 7 weeks old. She has two sisters Patch and Ruby and a brother Tex who are also available for adoption.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Maddie and her sisters and brother please phone foster carer Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. They are in Charlestown NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Maddie's $450 adoption fee includes her DESEXING, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
