Puppy Tex (On Trial 12/10/13)

Texas is a 9 week old cattle x puppy. It is so hard to describe him, He is an adorable little pup who is trying hard to be a good boy. He is learning to come when he is called along with everything else that a little one is required to learn. It is a bit hard when his three sisters also come running. He is one of a litter of four puppies whom I've been fostering since they were 7 weeks old. His sisters Maddie, Patch and Ruby are also available for adoption.

Tex is used to being in a kennel of a night time with his sisters and generally can hold onto his toilet needs until he is let out of a morning when he can get out on the grass. Although I cannot claim that he is house trained because I have not been able to work on it with all 4 of them. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.

Tex just loves to play with his siblings and my other big foster dog. The big dog is teach all the puppies how to be good dogs. When Tex has had enough he will just take himself off and curl up either in the sun somewhere or if he really wants some peace and quiet he will hide under or behind something out of sight. At feed time he will sit - briefly - he is only a baby. He actually likes a bath, does not mind being dried with the hair drier and even tolerates a brush. He does not object to having you handling him , cleaning his ears, cutting his nails. He loves a cuddle as do all puppies and it does not have to be on your lap, he is equally happy to curl up with his sisters or just a nice warm blanket or anything else that is close at hand. We have not tried walking on a lead as he is just too young time enough for that later now is time for loving and getting him used to being handled.
