Benny

Benny is a handsome lad with a gorgeous golden coat and a personality to match. \ He loves his walks, loves his food and is right at home with with his people.

Benny is a smart cookie and will respond well to further training, which is lucky as some training will be needed. While he is is house trained, doggy door trained and sits when told to, he does seem to treat most other doggy instructions as suggestions, rather than commands.

Benny’s forever home will be with patient people. He is shy at first and it takes a while to win his trust (ear rubs are a great way to get into his good books). He doesn't mind other dogs but would be equally happy as an only dog (providing he has lots of people company).

Benny is not suitable to a house with cats (too much fun chasing them, he is a dog after all) or with children either (he wants to be the baby in the family).

Benny has never felt secure in his home and now needs to learn some life lessons. \ His ideal owner will give Benny time to settle in and helping him by lots of long walks and training. He is smart and needs to exercise his brain as well as his body. Lead training is a must but training games are also good. \ He learns the games very quickly and helps him to relax his busy brain. If you are willing to put the time into helping Benny become a well rounded dog, the rewards are huge, this boy is desperately looking for a hero to give all his love and cuddles to and it could be you.
