About Ruby-Rose
Ruby-Rose was rescued from an animal hoarding situation, along with many other guinea pigs. Although some of the animals had serious health problems due to a bad diet and housing, they were overall better than expected. After 2 months in care, Ruby and her friends are now ready to find new homes. They have been treated for parasites and are on a good diet. Given their lack of handling in the past, they were quite skittish on arrival. Out of all the piggies, Ruby has progressed the most, and now is quite easy to handle. Ruby, and the 3 friends she's housed with (Tuppence, Chocolat and Hufflepuff), all race over to greet you and beg for food. They are even taking food from our hands, and it's lovely to see how much more confident and happy they are.
Ruby would love to be adopted with one of her friends, and is looking for an extra special home where she will be spoilt and loved like she has come to expect and deserve. She is a very unusual self red, so may have initially come from a breeder.
