About Puppy Penny (On Trial 28/8/13)
Penny is a sweet little Staffy x puppy aged between 9 and 12 weeks. She is currently living with a kitten who is her best friend. There are 2 other dogs here but they are a bit too big for her to play with just yet. Penny has fallen head over heels in love with my little daughter and they play beautifully together and Penny sleeps in her room.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Penny is a happy, excited little puppy but she is also very quiet and loves a cuddle. She would do best in a home where there is another pet for her to play with if everyone goes to work all day.
For more information or to meet Penny please phone foster carer Rachel on 0423 826 994 or 02 4954 4710. Penny is in foster care in Cardiff, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Penny's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
