About Kody *On Trial in His New Home*
*KODY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* Looking for a sweet, gentle-natured pup who’s a bit of a “mummies’ boy” and loves to be with you? Then you can’t go past Kody the snuggle-bunny who just wants to be loved and cherished as he so deserves!
Kody came from the “wrong side of the tracks” where he was rescued at almost 6 weeks of age by a kind samaritan who was lucky to save this beautiful boy from being drowned in the Murray River as an unwanted puppy. Realising she couldn’t keep him she contacted us SARG folk so now Kody is thriving in foster care and enjoying the attention of 3 young school-aged children while we find him the perfect forever home.
Adorable Kody has won the heart of his foster mum who has showered the little guy with love and started to teach him some basic commands such as “sit” and “down” as well as how to walk on a lead. He can be a bit shy when you first meet him though soon warms up. He is good with their own dogs and enjoys a play with our other SARG pups and is also fine around cats. Kody’s met his carers chooks and rabbits without any drama – we don’t think he has a nasty bone in his body and, if anything, can even be a little bit sooky. Kody sleeps inside at night and his foster carer has been working on his toilet training so he can enjoy spending time indoors and be part of the household goings on in his forever home.

Loveable Kody is quite low-maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and bath to keep his coat in tip-top condition. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make him very happy indeed! \ Kody would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own so long as he won’t be left alone for 8 hours on weekdays in a working household as he’s used to having company.
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up sweet Kody then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adoptapet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
