About Puppy Theo (On Trial 19/9/13)
Theo is a 7 week old Border Collie x Australian Cattle Dog puppy. He is such a well natured and smart puppy. He loves being with people and especially children. He loves chasing kids and playing with them. He gets a bit spooked by loud noises but he is only young and he will slowly build confidence. He is brown and white with brown/black spots. He will need to have some inside time every day with his family.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. They are a 10 to 15 year commitment.
Theo will be ready to go to his forever home after the 24th of August. You can meet him now and pay a deposit if you want him to join your family.
For more information or to meet Theo please phone foster carer Siobhan on 02 4952 5406 or 0408 603 156. Theo is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW.
Theo's $450 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
