About Puppy Gizmo (On Trial 7/9/13)
Gizmo is a 10 week old, male, border collie x husky puppy. He loves to play tug o war with the other puppies and laying out in the sun. He will be an active dog who will require training and daily walks.
Gizmo gets on well with other puppies and enjoys toys and playing with our other dogs and our children. Gizmo and his litter mates have grown up with our other dogs and children so they are used to a home environment and will fit right in with family life. Gizmo has a brother Bristol who is also available for adoption.
Gizmo needs daily brushing to keep him looking beautiful. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Gizmo will need to go to a home where he will be inside and part of the family, not just put out in the yard. He is too young to be left home alone so he must go to a home with another dog for company, or where someone is home much of the time.
For more information or to meet Gizmo please phone foster carer Kylie on 0470-704-513 or email saveadog@dodo.com.au . Gizmo is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW (15 minutes north of Newcastle).
Gizmo's $450 adoption fee includes his DESEXING, first two vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
