About Sam
Sam was brought into a Vet clinic for euthanasia as he was "no longer useful" to his owner. A vet nurse at the clinic saved him and Friends of the Hound came to his rescue to help find Sam his forever home. Oh Sam...Sam... Sam-I-Am...remember the persistent little character from Green Eggs and Ham by Dr Suess?? trying to get the other funny character to eat his plate of green eggs and ham?? Well this is our Sam. He is such a funny, goofy boy, one ear up and one folded with a silly grin on his face most of the time. Sam-I-Am is currently in foster care with other hounds and an out-numbered Kelpie. He gets on well with all of them and tries persistently to play with the Kelpie and the other hounds. Sam would love a forever home with another canine friend around his size that he can enjoy a game with. Sam is only a young boy at two years old and has plenty of energy for games with a ball or walks in the park of which he is very enthusiastic about. He loves travelling in the car and enjoying the breeze and fresh air if he can sneak his nose out the window. In saying this Sam also loves to curl up on his bed or the hound couch and like his foster sisters, loves being tucked in at night with a goodnight kiss on his forward. He will reward you with a big silly smooch and snuggles his face under your arm. Sam just loves life at the moment and is so enjoying being a dog without a worry in the world. Please if you can offer our special boy a warm and loving forever home, he will reward you with lots of love and fun and antics and smooches.
