About Sophie
Well, where do I start, I have had Sophie is care with me since the 19th June.
When Sophie first arrived she was an extremely sad little girl, she has had extensive amounts of surgery, having two huge lumps removed, teeth removed and on top of all that had to be desexed, and this is a lot of surgery for any dog let alone a 13 year old.
Sophie also has a condition known as dry eye which means she has no tear production so is on a drug known as optimune which she will need to have for the rest of her life.
Sophie has certainly over come her initial sadness and has turned into this crazy, funny affectionate little darling who I just adore. She is great with other dogs, not fussed by cats (although when she is having a crazy minute she will run and try to play with them, they don't appreciate it though), Sophie is housetrained and will go to the door to be let outside, once finished she will come back and bark to say I finished it's cold out here so let me in.
Sophie loves to go in the car and will sleep in the back seat comfortably and really enjoys getting out and having a stroll.
In my opinion Sophie would suit a home without the noise of young children, a quiet relaxed home with someone who will have her as a big part of their life and include her greatly in the family activities.
Sophie deserves this, after finding herself in the pound at 13, this is the least we can do.
