About Sam
Sam is an affectionate, playful and just gorgeous!
He likes other dogs, bones and sitting on his humans feet.
He is great in the car and walks happily on lead. He dosnt need much exercise but likes a 15 minute stroll to smell the "roses".
Sam is quite a character and a typical rotti. He loves his humans and his property and is quietly protective. He is a big dog at trim 60kg.
Sam has lived his life in a rural setting and is unfamiliar with things like buses, his response is to sit down and refuse to move until the "threat" has passed! Its really quite cute.
When Sam came to us he had not introduced to cats before and was scared of them. The unfortunately an overly assertive moggy gave him a smack on the nose and now he think cats should be banished from the house. So we feel he is best suited to a home without cats.
Sam sleeps inside quietly overnight and is toilet trained.
He would be an ideal companion for someone who likes big dogs but cant give them the exercise they need or someone who wants a relaxed friend.
Sam is a lovely, happy, smiley boy who is well bred and in good health. He is a great foot stool and will be a loyal mate.
Medical notes
Sam is fully vetworked, (desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flead). He has had a course of four cartrophen shots to build cartilage in his joints and help ward of arthritis.
He is also on a joint supplement to improve his coat condition and support his joint function. Being such a big heavy dog he will most likely get arthritis in the future, and so we feel its important to keep him trim and feed him foods which help keep his joints from deteriorating.
