DeeDee

DeeDee is one of the most loving, funny and adorable dogs that have come into our care.

This beautiful little lady was rescued by Second Chance Animal Rescue after she was stuck in a backyard like a garden ornament all her life, the last 7 months with her eyes stuck together from sever matting and mud and a severe tooth root abscess.

DeeDee has now been groomed, had the works done medically and is in a much better place now! She now wags her tail non stop, follows you around like a shadow, loves to sit on your lap on the couch (or in the bed) and has so much love to give everyone she meets. She is a completely different dog from the one we rescued a few weeks ago.

DeeDee gets along really well with other dogs, cats and loves children. She would do well with someone that is home a lot and needs to be an inside/ outside dog and sleep indoors.

Due to the condition she was kept in, DeeDee suffers from a condition called dry eye. Dry eye is a relatively common disease of dogs that causes decreased tear production which results in dry, itchy, crusty eyes. This condition is easily treated with daily or twice daily eye drops for the rest of her life, the drops are also relatively inexpensive.

She is such a special dog and really will make a new loving owner a great companion for life. Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweetheart?
