About Trixie (On Trial 2/2/14)
My name is Trixie and I'm a female, Staffy cross, approximately 12 months old and I can't wait to begin my new life in my forever home! I have a beautiful nature, am really friendly and just adore people! I would prefer to be the only dog in my new home though.
I especially enjoy my special time indoors every day when my foster mum does training with me. I would like to have some "inside time" every day in my forever home. I am responding well to training and have learned how to sit and to stay. I'm still a young dog and eager to learn how to please you. I would really enjoy going to dog training classes if you want to take me.
I haven't had any accidents inside and use the doggy door to go outside for toileting. I sleep in a kennel in a heated shed at now - nice and cosy for me!
I become anxious when left home alone and might try to get out to find company. I need a secure back yard with fencing that I can't climb; and a home where my new family were not away for long hours. I'm not suitable to a home with small children because when I get super happy I could accidently knock over a little one.
I have a lot of love to give and will be a loyal and affectionate companion for the right family or person. If you give me a chance I'm sure I will win your heart.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
