About Tara *On Trial in Her new Home*
*TARA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* Meet Tara!! She has an adorable personality, is very affectionate and is such a sweet girl who loves to give you kisses and doggie cuddles! An unfortunate change in her owners circumstances means she’s looking for a new forever home; will it be with you?
Beautiful Tara has been much-loved and well taken care of; we’ve promised her owner we’d find her an amazing home where her wonderful life can continue. She has settled in well into foster care where she’s getting along famously with her carers own little females dogs; a playful Shih Tzu x and an older Jack Russell x who Tara is very respectful of. Tara is housetrained (she’s very well behaved inside) and slept on the floor next to her owner in her own bed and this is how it is in her foster home too so of course we’d want this continued in her forever home. She is playful and energetic, enjoying human company without being in your face. She’s not a digger which is surprising having Beagle in her though was known to chew on a shoe or two if they were left outside when she was young! Clever Tara knows “sit” and “down” and loves going for walks on a lead – this is where the Beagle breed comes into play as she loves to “stop and smell the roses” fairly frequently so to speak! She is good with children, just wanting to play and has spent time with chooks and cats without any dramas.
Please enjoy some video of Tara: http://youtu.be/NDMchGpn4XY
Being a Beagle x Jack Russell Tara is a nice compact size and she travels well in a car and had even spent time travelling with her owner in a campervan. She is fairly low-maintenance and enjoys a bath. Tara does love her food so this will need to be monitored so she doesn’t put on weight. This gorgeous young girl would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on her own so long as she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company and could get bored and up to mischief without it. A secure yard, daily walks, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with would make Tara very happy indeed!
If you’ve been looking for the companionship of a truly loving pet then you can’t go past Tara so please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link or by copying and pasting it into your browser: http://www.sarg.net.au/adoptapet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
