About Ellie
Ellie is currently in foster care with Peter and Janet.
Ellie arrived from West Wyalong pound with Maddison, who has since found her forever home.
Ellie is on the smaller side for a female and presents to be very sweet natured typical greyhound. Ellie posed for the camera with no problems and enjoyed the attention. She would bring someone a lot of joy in return for a warm, loving home. Ellie spent some time with children and got on well with the family.
Ellie recently had a short holiday from the kennels and her carer writes:
“Ellie has a beautiful shiny silky soft coat. She loves food treats and would be easy to train because of this. She rarely barks unless highly excited? Ellie is not cat friendly. She would do well with a friend… She got along with my whippet so well. Ellie would do well with basic obedience lessons. She walks beautifully on the lead and doesn’t pull unless she sees a cat. Ellie slept in the bathroom with my whippet and I didn’t hear a peep from them all night. She doesn’t wee or poo inside as I took her straight outside in the morning and during the day if she wanted to go she would whine a little to let me know :)
Ellie is learning to be a pet. She now follows me around the house and is beginning to enjoy scratches near her collar. She has taken up the lounge but I’m sure if you didn’t want her on your lounge you would just have to let her know that straight away. Wilson and I have enjoyed having Ellie and hope someone will adopt her soon.”
We would love to hear from you if you are able to help foster Ellie or another greyhound, or even better if you think Ellie is the one for you :)

Adoption details
Application form. House check. Two week trial period. We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
