About Rupert
Rupert is in foster care with Caroline & Simon and greyhounds Ruby and Duke (previously Dude). He starts an obedience class this weekend!
Caroline and Simon write the following: “Rupert is a sweet, affectionate and gentle young boy of 11 months. He is still very much a puppy, but he is quiet and easy going and has easily integrated into our little family. He enjoys the company of Ruby and Duke and plays happily with them at home and in the park. He is very affectionate and loves to be cuddled and patted by Simon or I. He is quite shy of new non-hound dogs but is becoming more and more comfortable with all the new sounds, smells and sights of the inner city. He is an even tempered boy and is neither dominant nor submissive with other dogs.
He walks really well on leash at heel and is attending dog obedience school so is learning more commands every day. He is very receptive to training and responds very well to positive reinforcement.
He spends the day alone at home with Ruby and Duke while we are at work and he does not destroy any household items while we are out. He is also fully house trained and takes himself outside to toilet.
He would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a young dog. He does not show any signs of a prey drive and so far has not chased any cats.”

Adoption details
Application form. House check. Two week trial period. We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
