Lavender

Lavender is one of eight Shih Tzu X that we believe came from a backyard breeder. Lavender and her mates were found wandering the streets of Bankstown and soon found themselves impounded so PAWS took all eight dogs. Lavender was quite emaciated but has fully recovered and is ready for rehoming. Lavender is a very sweet little girl who loves cuddles and food in that order. She will talk to you in 'doggy speak' and does a moon walk dance when dinner time is near or she is hungry as she knows that this has the desired affect and food will follow! Lavender does like to spend the majority of her time indoors and she is house trained, using a doggy door with ease. Lavender is not terribly confident on stairs but is improving. She probably didn't have stairs in her previous life so needs to learn what they are and how to use them. Lavender is very confident when she has human and dog company so a home with another small and friendly dog is mandatory or she will fret on her own. Lavender likes to sleep under things so her current bed is a pillow and blanket under a coffee table ... she is a funny little dog! Lavender is not keen on going out for walks so her foster family have not pushed the issue so a home where this is not going to be expected of her will be best. Lavender recently spent four weeks with a visiting Shih Tzu who she got on with and played with constantly. Lavender is a house dog and must have indoor access at all times.
