Hunter

Hunter is just beautiful. He has a gentle nature and would be great as a family dog or indeed with anyone who is prepared to give him a loving secure home. Hunter is a 2 year old border collie x kelpie desexed male. Hunter is typical of dogs that end up in pounds. He was surrendered to the Tweed Pound at 18 months with no training, not desexed and in rather scruffy condition. He has been in a kennel situation with a dog trainer and has put on some condition and learnt some manners. He is more than ready for his new home. His trainer knows Hunter well and is happy to discuss him with any prospective new owner. He can't stay in the kennel forever - we think 10 months is more than enough. We think that Hunter was worth saving and will reward whoever is prepared to give him a chance with love and loyalty.. I visited him the other day and could not believe how good he is. A great pet for someone. He has responded well to training and would love a home with space and an active owner or family. Because we are close to the NSW/Qld border our animals can go to either state. We require prospective owners to meet a dog and we do not fly or transport animals interstate.
