About Pepper
Introducing Pepper the liver spotted, Dalmatian!
Pepper is a sweet, super affectionate girl. At only 12months old she is friendly and playful. She loves kids, is very happy to be part of their games and is currently fostering with a 6 year old and 4year old. She can be quite excitable though, so would need to be always supervised with toddlers as she may accidentally knock them over. She has basic manners and will sit when told. Pepper would appreciate further training though, to continue to work on her manners! Pepper is very much a people dog, especially women, she can be hesitant with some males, and may take some time to warm up to any men in her new home. She LOVES, LOVES , LOVES attention and a pat. She especially loves to sit on your knee if you let her!!
Pepper has quite a high prey drive and while she is currently in care with cats, she is not left alone with them because of this so she is not suitable for a home with cats, chickens or other small animals, as the temptation to chase is just too much for her!
She enjoys a walk and is ok on the lead. A daily walk or run is required as she is very energetic and also lots of toys for stimulation for times she is alone. She has lived with a small dog and is fostering with a very large male dog and they play fine together! Pepper would appreciate a male dog friend if going to be home alone through the day.
Pepper has settled in easily into her foster home and her sweet, loving nature will be missed but she deserves a loving forever family or person who will hopefully return in full, all the love that she has to give.
Pepper would like a home where she is made part of the family and included in family activities. She is house trained and would like to sleep indoors at night.
Pepper is in care in Pearcedale.
Medical notes
Pepper goes to her new home desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated
