About Bella (3) (adopted by foster carer)
Bella is a 10 month old English Foxhound (like a beagle) x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is gentle and kind and LOVES a cuddle. She would play all day if she could however she loves a sleep in too. Bella would be perfectly suited to a family with children, and a big secured back yard.
Like any dog, Bella needs a daily walk and loving attention. She’s learnt how to sit, but doesn’t like to stay just yet as she’s worried you’ll leave her. She gets on great with other dogs and has a generally friendly nature. Fine with cats, just wants to pay with them.
Bella is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She is a great guard dog and will let you know when someone comes to the house. She is a large small size. She was regretably surrendered by her owners who couldn't meet her needs.
She is still a puppy and still learning and needs someone there to help her learn and grow into a mature girl. We always recommend dog training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. She responds very well to training. Bella needs a home to call her own as she has so much love to give and needs someone to love her in return.
For more information or to meet Bella please phone Caroline on 02-4988-6401 or Sue on 02-4954-2234 or email docman4@bigpond.com . Bella is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Bella's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
