About Moo (On Trial 4/8/13)
Moo is a 8 month old, purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She loves to be around people and adores children. She's a very sweet and playful puppy. She is living with 2 other dogs and 2 cats and gets on fine with them all. She's not a barker.
Moo has a tendency to jump up when she gets excited so she'd be best for a family with children over 8 years old. This can be changed with training and we always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Moo is house trained and uses the doggy dog to go out to toilet. Sometimes she gets a bit nervous and will wee herself a little but this is becoming less and less frequent as she get more relaxed about being in a new place.
Moo needs a home where she will be inside when the family are home and sleep inside at night. Like any young dog she needs a walk every day. She's a darling girl who deserves a loving home to call her own.
For more information or to meet Moo please phone foster carer Carmen on 0421 859 929 or email carmen0785@hotmail.com . Moo is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Moo's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
