The first time 8-10 year old Astro was handed to me he literally stood up in my arms and trembled. However, after some kind words and a couple of minutes of petting, his little legs folded beneath him and he melted into my embrace like warm pudding.

Since being in care, Astro has adapted quickly to domestic life. He gets on well with other dogs and will gladly share a basket with a canine companion, though he'd prefer a human lap - always. This little guy wants nothing more than to be in your company. He loves the car, loves your lap, loves a morsel of whatever it is you're eating and loves getting under the covers at night. Due to Astro's diminutive size (3.21 kilos), a household with older kids would best suit him.

Although delicate physically, Astro has a robust spirit. He's turbo-charged and his energy will energise you. He's a pocket rocket with a whole lot of love to give.
