About Costa *On Trial in His New Home*
*COSTA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES PLEASE* Adorable Costa is bursting with puppy love and playfulness. He is a shoe in for the title of super-wriggly bum of the year and is looking for an owner who will spend the time helping him reach his full potential; will it be with you?
Costa was a Facebook “giveaway” who was intercepted by us SARG folk and is now having a ball in foster care with 3 young school-aged children as well as with their young Staffy x and their older Maltese/ShihTzu and he’s not fazed by the household cats – he’s even met their chooks and rabbits without any drama and their pet pig doesn’t faze this little guy one bit! Costa loves to play, play, play yet he also loves pats and snuggles on your lap. While in care Costa has started to learn some basic commands such as “sit” and “down” as well as how to walk on a lead and his foster carer will work on his toilet training so he can enjoy being inside and part of the household goings on in his forever home.

Happy pup Costa is quite low-maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and bath to keep his coat in tip-top condition. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make him very happy indeed! We’re not sure what breeds make up Costa though we can see some Border Collie/Kelpie is his colouring and perhaps some Corgi or Terrier as he has short little legs. Our vets seem to think he’ll be small to medium when fully grown.
Costa would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own so long so he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a puppy as he’s used to having lots of entertainment.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed,
references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
