About Roxy (On Trial 3/9/13)
Roxy is a 7 year old Mini Foxy. She is very bright, happy and energetic. She loves to chase balls and soft toys and is wonderful with children. She plays like a younger dog and gets along fine with other small dogs, but she doesn’t like bigger dogs. She's probably afraid of them, being so small herself.
Roxy was sadly surrendered when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. In winter she'll need a little coat at night.
Roxy adores being around people, lying next to your chair or following you out into the yard. She just likes to be where ever you are. She will make an amusing and affectionate companion for someone who has time to spend with her.
For more information or to meet Roxy please phone foster carer Val on 02-4943-0615 or email grandy9@bigpond.com . Roxy is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Roxy's $250 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au \

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
