On Hold
About Sandy - On trial until 12/09/13
My name is Sandy and I'm a little girl, 7 months old, terrier mix (maybe Jack Russell and Maltese). I’m an energetic puppy who will be so excited to see you come home from work each day! I love going on walks and will walk around with you for hours if you’ll let me. I don’t really love the big dogs we pass on our walks and can get a little bit scared of them. I get along well with dogs that I am introduced to, but I’m aware of ‘stranger danger’. I like children a lot because they love to play games with me as much as I love to play with them.
I love toys and running after balls. I’m still learning to bring them back so I can have another turn. My favourite food is chicken and raw hide chews. I try to go to the toilet outside, but occasionally I have accidents and my foster family is helping me work on this.
My favourite parts of our home are in the sun outside or on our bed or lounge having a cuddle with you. I’m told I give the best cuddles! However, I do sleep in my own room with my foster sister when my foster family puts me to sleep at night.
My dream home is one where there are often people around to keep me company and where I am welcome indoors.
I’m looking forward to meeting my forever family!

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
