Pippa

Pippa was impounded along with Leo at Renbury Pound a couple of weeks ago with a trauma to her right eye which had been left untreated. This has resulted in her eye virtually shrivelling up so it will be removed when Pippa is under anaesthetic for desexing. Pippa is severely emaciated and her immune system compromised at the moment so on veterinary advice no surgery will be done until she is healthy and a good weight. We have Pippa on two different types of antibiotics due to severe kennel cough as she ran the risk of developing pneumonia if it wasn't treated aggressively. Pippa was starving and is being fed every few hours by her foster carer Jenny. Despite all of this, Pippa is a darling little dog and in Jenny's care will soon come good!
