About Arrow
Arrow loves a cuddle (especially if it’s on the lounge!) and will quite happily lay quietly on the bed inside while you’re wandering around the house. If you open the door when he is outside, he’ll run straight inside and onto his bed. Oh, and he’s a bit of a snorer!
This gorgeous pup sits and stays for his food, sometimes he even comes and gives you a quick hug to say thanks before eating it! He much prefers to be inside the house than outside (can’t blame him, really!).
Arrow needs someone who will give good, clear instructions as he can have a case of ‘selective hearing’ but this wouldn’t be a problem for anyone who likes to do training exercises and strengthen that human-canine bond. He can get a bit distracted – he’ll often be a bit “ooh, something shiny!” – and likes to bark at the chooks.
He’s a real superstar on the leash, he’ll quite happily walk nicely with a loose leash and if he gets a little ahead, he only needs a little slight tug to remind him. He does get excited when he sees other dogs but he can be told to sit and wait (though he may sob a little that he can’t go and play).
Arrow’s very treat motivated so training will be easy if you’ve got a pocket full of treats! He also loves the company of other dogs and has quickly grown fond of the resident dog in his foster home, giving him lots of cuddles and basically getting as close to him as he can get when they’re sleeping together.
All in all, Arrow is a young, excitable boy who will suit most families and environments… so long as you have lots of food!

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
